This experiment was inspired by the literary “cut-up” technique and the collage technique used by artists. Parts were extracted from our living-room recording of the song as well as from our original synth demo. Everything was then chopped up, sometimes looped, and reassembled into a rhythmically heightened, dark and colorful impression of our original piece.
